Tonight JB and I will be heading over to The Scotland Yard Pub to hang out with these people.
I’ve always wanted to get involved in Habitat for Humanity and tonight’s meeting (for happy hour, no less) will let me know how I can get involved.
It’s time to get off my patootie and give back!

Hey, I know we discussed this over the phone but I thought I would put it on here so Kim can find out (I’m sure you’ve forgotten to tell her!).
I’m currently waiting for the group organizer to e-mail me with what tasks she would like me to do. The group that I met with does mostly fundraising but they do builds as well (which is the actually building of the houses). Did you know that Habitat for Humanity can’t build a house until all the money is raised? It takes about 80K to do that.
I guess this year I’m going to learn all about fundraising from this and the movie! (More on that a lot later!)
